about

This is a song a day project I did January 2010 for Fun-A-Day in the Bay, hosted by the Artclash Collective at Rock Paper Scissors in Oakland.

Important things to know:

I didn’t use any high tech recording gear – this is all recorded with the built in mic on my old Powerbook using a simple multi-track recording program I got for cheap.

My goal was to write and record a new song on a daily basis – none of these songs were written before (or developed from ideas conceived before) January 2010. I also wanted to challenge myself stylistically and use as many instruments as I could, within reason. Most of the songs are recorded without words, fyi. Those'll come later.

Thanks for listening!
